Simran Budharup Faces Misconduct at Lalbaugcha Raja Pandal

TV actress Simran Budharup recently visited the famous Lalbaugcha Raja Pandal in Mumbai with her mother for Ganpati darshan, but their experience turned sour when they faced misconduct by the staff.

Ganpati celebrations in Maharashtra are known for their grandeur, with large pandals set up across the city and thousands of devotees visiting to seek blessings. Many Bollywood and TV celebrities participate in the festivities, bringing Lord Ganesha home and offering prayers. However, Simran Budharup and her mother encountered unexpected trouble amidst the large crowds at these pandals.

Disappointing Experience at Lalbaugcha Raja

Simran took to Instagram to share her distressing experience at the pandal. She mentioned that what was supposed to be a spiritual visit to seek Bappa’s blessings turned into a disappointing and upsetting ordeal due to the behaviour of the staff.

Phone Snatched from Her Mother

Simran described how a bouncer snatched her mother’s phone while she was trying to take a photo. When her mother attempted to retrieve her phone, she was pushed. Simran intervened, but she too faced harassment from female bouncers. When she began recording the incident, the staff tried to snatch her phone as well. It was only after they realized that she was a well-known TV actress that the bouncers backed off.

Struggling to Maintain Crowd Control

Simran, known for her role in the TV show Pandya Store, expressed her frustration in her post, writing that people visit such places with pure intentions, only to be met with aggression and disrespect. She acknowledged the difficulty of managing large crowds but emphasized that it is the staff’s responsibility to maintain order without mistreating devotees.

This unfortunate incident highlights the challenges that arise in managing massive gatherings at religious events, where maintaining safety and respect for attendees is crucial.
